GSM which can carry data rates from 64 kbps to 120 mbps.
It also provides general services to advance services like: - roaming. Through roaming we can use our GSM phone number in other networks.
In this we can avail the services of GPRS and SMS and in this subscriber identity module (SIM) is used to identify the phone number.
In GSM phone, we can remove one SIM card and insert another SIM.
In this, the data is compressed and sent through the channel.
